Accessibility statement
In short
- We want everyone to use our site to plan a session.
- The site partially meets WCAG 2.1 level AA; we keep improving.
- No full third-party WCAG audit has been completed yet.
- Report issues: [email protected] or contact — reply within 1 business day.
1. Our commitment
Micracoriva B.V. runs Micracoriva, a recording studio at Goudsbloemstraat 73 in Amsterdam. We aim to make micracoriva.digital usable for people with diverse needs: visual, auditory, motor or cognitive.
This statement describes the current status, known gaps and how to send feedback. It aligns with European accessibility rules for digital services where they apply to us.
2. Scope
The statement covers the public website micracoriva.digital in Dutch and English: services, guides, FAQ, contact and legal pages such as privacy policy and cookie policy.
Not covered: email messages, bespoke PDF quotes, audio files we deliver after sessions, and third-party sites we link to.
3. Standard and conformance
We use WCAG 2.1 level AA as a benchmark. Based on our own checks (keyboard, contrast, structure, forms), the site is partially conformant.
We have not yet run a formal independent WCAG audit. After major updates we repeat basic checks on the homepage, contact form and a representative service page such as vocal recording.
4. What already works
- HTML structure with headings, landmarks and a skip link to main content.
- Form labels linked to fields on contact; required fields are indicated.
- Colour contrast checked for primary text and buttons in our design.
- Visible focus for keyboard navigation; mobile menu operable by keyboard where supported.
- Alternative text on studio photos per our image policy.
- Language switch between Dutch and English without losing context.
Opening hours in text: Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 11:00–18:00. Closed Sunday. By appointment only.. Directions: Tram 13 or 17 to Westermarkt; about seven minutes on foot via Bloemgracht toward Goudsbloemstraat. From Amsterdam Centraal, bus 18 toward Slotervaart, get off at Haarlemmer Houttuinen, then five minutes walking..
5. Known limitations
- Decorative motion may distract sensitive users; we avoid flashing transitions but not all movement can be switched off.
- Some tables on legal pages are wide; small screens may need horizontal scrolling.
- The map on contact relies on the provider’s interaction; a text route is always available.
- PDFs we send on request are not always tagged for screen readers.
We prioritise fixes with the highest impact. Tell us what blocks you via [email protected].
6. Preparation of this statement
Prepared on 14 October 2026 by Micracoriva using WCAG 2.1 knowledge and user feedback where available. Effective: 14 October 2026.
Next planned review: within twelve months of 14 October 2026, or sooner after a redesign. Updates appear on this page.
7. Feedback and contact
If you hit an accessibility barrier on the site or need information in another format, email [email protected] or use contact with «accessibility» in the subject. Include the page (URL if possible), device, browser and what went wrong.
We acknowledge receipt and reply within 1 business day with a fix, workaround or timeline. To talk by phone: 020 737 0284 during Mon–Fri 10–20, Sat 11–18.
8. Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets or, for discrimination on grounds of disability, the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights. We prefer to resolve issues via contact.
Questions about physical access to the canal-house studio (steps, noise levels) are handled in FAQ and terms and conditions; wheelchair access is limited — call ahead if you have specific needs.
